About two years ago, we sensed the Lord leading us to host a retreat. We did not tell anyone but committed the thought to prayer. Well, around 6 months later we started getting comments from small women’s groups in the community. The requests were completely consistent and valid. The smaller women’s Church groups as well as other women’s groups like scrapbooking and book clubs cannot afford the expenses of a retreat. The women sensed a need to be together but wanted their time together to be centered on the Lord instead of the hotel or hassles of planning the event.

It is for these reasons and the fruit from last year’s retreat that we are hosting our Second Annual Daily Disciples Retreat
“Faith that Moves Mountains” held in the beautiful mountains of San Bernardino (off the 10) at the Forest Home Conference Center. (www.foresthome.org).

It will be a weekend of fellowship, fun and the teaching will be focused on the gospels. Our hope is to get a closer look at Jesus, His love for us and His desire to increase our faith to move those impossible mountains in our lives. The retreat starts with a Friday night meal and we continue throughout the weekend with additional optional workshops, outdoor activities (like hikes and the zip line), network gathering, devotional meetings, prayer counseling sessions and so much more. Last year, every evaluation was positive with many comments being life changing. So, we decided to do it again!
